Urban Space Builders is a fast-growing residential construction company in Chennai, committed to delivering high-quality projects with innovation and precision. We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our team at our Medavakkam office.

Role & Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and BOQs for residential construction projects.

• Conduct quantity take-offs, rate analysis, and cost planning.

• Manage tendering process, prepare bid documents, and evaluate contractors’ quotations.

• Monitor project costs and variations to ensure budget compliance.

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site teams for smooth execution.

• Conduct site visits and measurements for validation of contractor bills.

• Prepare interim payment certificates and final settlement reports.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and statutory norms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveying.

• 1–6 years of experience in residential or commercial construction projects.

• Strong knowledge of construction materials, cost estimation, and contracts.

• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software.

• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
